A workshop designed for participants with special needs on NDIS to enable them to thrive and gain autonomy


  • I RULE THE KITCHEN A workshop for participants that desire to grow autonomy in cooking skills and food handling. Participants will learn hands on to prepare mouth-watering meals.

This workshop can be booked for 1 on 1 session to a group of 4 maxi. Session runs for 2 to 4 hours


  • SHOW ME HOW A workshop for participants who have cooking knowledge...or not but, desire to learn by demonstration with food degustation. this workshop is more for entertaining purposes.

Session runs for 3 to 4 hours


  • HIDDEN TALENTS A workshop designed for participants with special needs on NDIS to enable individuals to thrive and gain autonomy. Participants will learn hands on to prepare mouth-watering meals. This workshop can be booked for 1 on 1 session to a group of 3 maxi. Session runs for 2 to 4 hours.
  • CHEF@HOME Hire a chef to assist you in the preparation of special events.

It ‘s all about the veggies


Bring the variety into preparing veggies. From the succulent ratatouille to the delicious falafel and humus. As a main meal or not... Vegetables are rocking up the plate!


It’s all about the sauce


Learn all you need to know to have you covered and level up your meals with the sauce that makes the difference. From homemade mayonnaise and its declination to ranch sauce, we will explore the base for taking your next pasta dish to restaurant standards and homemade gravy sauce to flavour your favourite meats.

It’s all about the fast food


Famous food chains will not longer appeal to you once you will create your own sublime cheeseburger, that juicy Southern fried chicken or that Mexican pulled beef nachos


It’s all about the cakes


Indulge yourself with some traditional French patisseries. Learn the base to make your homemade cakes and cookies that will get you covered for your week’s snacks

It’s all about you


At Nina’s workshop there is literally not set menu because, it is about what YOU would like to learn. We will work together what mouth-watering recipes you would like to explore.

Behind the scenes

My name is Nina, (I am the one on the right) and I am a French experienced chef with over 30 years experience in Hospitality industry. I have studied in Australia and have qualification in CERT IV in Training and Assessment in Hospitality and hold an advanced diploma in Sociology and Community Services. After working for a training company, I noticed that many factors can affect the learning of the participants, like accessibility, environment, time and such that prevent individuals to thrive and shine.

Nowadays, we are to do better; I choose to offer classes at home to alleviate many stress that could occur and give participants the opportunity to conciliate their life style and their desire to learn in a fun atmosphere. These core skills will enable anyone to produce daily meals on a budget and gaining autonomy...Overall, it spice up your life!

In a fast-pace world, eating ready-to-eat meals and fast food is an easy solution on the short term however, it is demonstrated that it has negative impact on your health on the long term.

Not only industrialised food contains baffling amount of salt and sugar, they also have chemical agents such as food colorants, food enhancers etc...that prone to cancer, depression and to unbalance the hormonal system that make gaining and retaining weight. Cooking from scratch has only positive aspect.


From Italian to French Cajun, passing by African or middle Eastern cuisine, learn the basic cooking techniques and tips to cook any of your favourite meals

and master dinner time!
